    Plant a Tree FAQs

    • How do I plant a tree?

Whenever you purchase a Vegan Burger, Vegan Rappa or Vegan Salad using your Flame Rewards account, we will donate funds equal to the cost of planting one tree, up to the total cost of planting 10,000 trees, to our partners, One Tree Planted.

The Oporto Flame Rewards app must be scanned or your mobile number provided at the time of transaction, before the transaction is closed out to qualify.

Promotion ends on 31st January, 2021 or when we reach our goal of 10,000 trees.

    • What products qualify?

Eligible products are Vegan Burger, Vegan Rappa and Vegan Salad purchased through Flame Rewards

You can purchase them a la carte (on its own) or in a meal.

    • Who is One Tree Planted?

One Tree Planted is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees in Australia and around the world to restore nature and biodiversity.

    • When will the donation be made to One Tree Planted? Can you provide proof of planting?

Donation will be made to One Tree Planted at the end of promotion or as soon as we reach our goals of 10,000 vegan Burger, Rappa or Salad sold. You can contact One Tree Planted and verify with them that our contributions have been made. We will also provide you with photos and an impact update when the trees are planted.

    • When are the trees planted?

The trees will be planted from around April to September 2021 when the tree planting season resumes.

    • Where are the trees being planted?

Oporto’s donation will be allocated to the Bushfire Recovery Nursery Program to support the restoration of 1 million trees in South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. This project is supporting the development and delivery of bushfire recovery efforts following the devastating Australian bushfires of 2019. Our partners will specifically focus on revegetation projects on public and private land. The goal across all regions is to plant 1 million trees in the next 3-5 years, consisting of a range of species that have been affected by fire and promote the growth of other threatened fauna.
